The Elizabeth R. Griffin Research Foundation, Inc. actively seeks those individuals and organizations that pursue scientific research in the prevention and treatment of zoonotic diseases. To date, we have awarded over $140,000.00 US in grants and internships.
The Foundation has standing grants with the Association of Primate Veterinarians and the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) Foundation. The Foundation also funds the following active grants: (1) the study of comparative treatment procedures for B virus exposure; (2) the development of robotic instruments that handle submitted samples for exposure testing; and (3) the funding for victim/survivor support meetings.
Please forward any zoonotic disease research grants to the APV Foundation or the ACLAM Foundation www.aclam.org/rfp.html as these groups have professional review committees in place for grant consideration.
